Bertrand Piccar took over today's flight, the Round-The-World second leg. He took off from Muscat International Airport at 6.35am (02:35UTC) on the way to Ahmedabad. Today's flight is likely to be a record-breaker, maximum distance travelled by a solar-powered airplane. Si2 will fly out across the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, and over Karachi, Pakistan.
